Companies are accountable to shareholders. This also applies to social enterprise De Middellander. This means that every adult has an equal chance of being among the first shareholders. The management of De Middellander consists of local professionals who have extensive experience with Mooi Mooier Middelland (MMM), the co-creation programme from which the neighborhood company originates. The MMM working groups are involved in the neighborhood company, as are the municipality of Rotterdam and other partners in the neighborhood.
